Ajou Economy Juho Choi, reporter = It was announced on the 11th that the Daegu-Gyeongbuk High-tech Venture Business Association (Daegu-Gyeongbuk) held the 14th Daegu Gyeongbuk Advanced Venture Industry Award at the Hotel Inter-Burgo ExCo Convention Hall on the 10th at 6 pm at the Hotel Daegu Gyeongbuk EXPO Convention Hall to promote the region's leading edge venture business and promote venture culture. 

This 14th annual event is a forum for local businessmen to conclude a year and pledge to the next year. This year, the event attracted the attention of local high-tech start-up companies and won the awards of 16 companies that showed the excellent management performance and technology of the year and the awards ceremony of 16 employees who contributed to the company development.

STI Co., Ltd. (CEO Taeil Seo) and Silicon Valley Co., Ltd. (CEO Gyeongseop Yoon) won Venture Capital Award, KDM won Gyeongbuk Provincial Governor’s Award, Taeyoung Filtration Co., LTD for Daegu Mayor’s Award and Mirae Industry, Eunseong Tech, Cheong Heat Treatment and Myeongbo Industry won the Medium Business Administration Industry’s Award. 

In addition, they were awarded as excellent venture companies (2 companies), special venture companies (4 companies), innovative venture companies (2 companies) and venture companies (1 company).

In particular, individual awards were given to 16 people including General Manager Jaehoon Kim of STI CO., Ltd., who contributed to the development of the company by working diligently and faithfully at the local high-tech venture companies.
