Gyeongsangbuk-do opened ''Gyeongsangbuk-do Small and Medium Business Award Ceremony' on 16th to give strength to small and medium-sized enterprises which are difficult in the Auditorium of Auditorium, and to promote businessmen's morale and pride.

This year's award winners are Han Sung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (CEO Oheul Kwon) for grand prize, LDK Co., Ltd (CEO Daegyeong Lim) for innovation, STI Co., Ltd. (CEO Taeil Seo) for technical development, Samsung Tech Co., Ltd. (Jongbok Lim) for job creation, and Dongseo Pharm Well-Being Co., Ltd. (CEO Gyeongja Choi) for women.

Excellent prizes go to Deoksan GS Co., Ltd. (CEO Taekhyeong Kwon), Daejeong Chemical (CEO Jeong Su Kim), Taekwang Industry (CEO Youngtae Sohn), Jungwon Industry (CEO Myeonggu Kim) and Daeyoung Precision Co., Ltd (CEO Myora Kim).

The provincial government verified financial soundness and qualification by commissioning the review to the Korea Fair Trade Commission, the Environment and Local Tax depts., and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Total 10 companies were finally selected at the review committee on the 2nd. 

The award winners will be given first priority to support for small and medium enterprises (300 million won → 500 million won), technology development and overseas market development projects, and the local tax (3 years) tax surveillance will be granted.
