Korean semiconductor equipment companies have developed silicon carbide (SiC) powder that has relied on overseas.
Researchers are analyzing the ingredients of SiC powder at the STI Research Institute in Dalseong-gun, Daegu.
They succeeded in developing a 6-inch ingot for mass production, which is the core of manufacturing silicon carbide (SiC) wafers.
They are also known to be keen on developing 8-inch ingot.
